25 April 2009 > Huntology

Today's activity is "huntology", its some kind of treasure hunt thingy...and guess what, the p.i.c. is Lee Yng! Well, in this treasure hunt we don't really hunt for "real treasure" though, we need to hunt for clues and then decode it to become a verse to end the "game". We were split into 3 groups, namely: green, yellow and baige(well, that's what our clues were coluored...)But to be honest it was tiring and exhausting(but good exercise though) because a particular group 'killed' the lift and we had to walk up and down, up and down, and again and again, and so on and so on...So as I was saying, we literally walked(or ran, depending on the group) to search for every clue, there was 6 clues all written in who knows what alien language...then it must be put together to make a bible verse out of it(Matthew6:21 - for where the treasure is, there your heart will be also)... Then after one whole hour of limited time, yellow group got executed because they didn't finish looking for all the clues in time...and then we had some fun playing ice and water...literally......Well, here's the pics, enjoy~

this is the so called map/hint/sack piece or whatever you call it ...

one of the stations...and here's 4 bucket of stones and ice...yes, ice...

the groups need to search for the stone/pebble that has their group colour/name written on it to get one of their alien written clue...

this other station needs the group to search for 2 joker cards in all 179 cards...tough...

lot 319, one of my most hated places of all...well, we just need to search for all clue that's all...but whoever who hid that clue, I'm telling you...: you're good...

the toilet was also one of the places we needed to search for, and gosh...it stank like hell...

the first group who succeeded to look for all the clues first...obviously the green team...

the yellow team getting ready for execution...

after our revenge on Lee Yng's car...

well, people can always have time for fun, right?

our 'dai gor' enjoying his ice cold spa...

the clean up look alike...

but basicly we just look like we're playing with water, which we were...
this, is the execution video...

MIF Easter Prog : Stations of the Cross

Last Saturday as some of you were not here with us in MIF due to the school replacement, we celebrated Easter in a different way by going through the events that captured Jesus' last few days on earth. They are called 'Stations of the Cross'.
Stations are places where people wait while they are going from one place to another just like a bus stop. Hence these 13 Stations of the Cross are like pit stops where people take time to think about Jesus as he went to die on a cross. They help us to remember what our Lord Jesus went through and more importantly they show us how much Jesus loved us.
You can view some of these stations from the earlier post.

Well, today's meeting was called 'fitness first', and obviously it has something to do with sports...So this time, we had badminton(badminton IS a sport), sorry that there's no pictures about the badminton outing today, because some particular someone forgot that he HAD bring a camera...but anyway, we went to Pudu Plaza's badminton court and after that we went for tea at the coffee shop at the opposite of church.
